The Pledge of Allegiance was cited.  The Invocation: “As we gather this morning at Ruby’s in Rye, NY, we thank you all, as Rotarians, for your service, fellowship and generosity. May your goodness and love be present amongst us today. Amen”
 

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
 
DUES ARE DUE! Invoices have been sent out. $200 annual. Dues can be paid by credit card.  Please Contact Jim Jackson
 
“CRAZY LEGS” EVENT    APRIL 26, 2017  6-9 PM
 
****JOIN OUR “2017 CRAZY LEGS COMMITTEE”
CHAIRS PAM DWYER OR ANGELA ARE DOING AN AMAZING JOB, BUT………..
WE NEED A FEW MORE CONTESTANTS !!
AND WE NEED MEMBERS TO BUY TICKETS !

and we have seven contestants signed up…. WE NEED A FEW MORE!
 

The Rye Derby and Healthy Kids Day are on Sunday, April 30th this year.  The Y needs your help this year and have several options for volunteering:
  • Set up the parking lot. Organize the t-shirt table. Race Course Marshal. Serve food or ice cream to event attendees. Clean up.
  • If you would like to volunteer, please email Gregg Howells or go to the Y’s website!

President Elect Bob Manheimer introduced David Schribman who led a round table discussion on membership issues - attracting new members and engaging existing members.

President Elect Bob Manheimer introduced Joshua I. Hrabosky, PsyD with Greenwich Hospital's Center for Behavioral & Nutritional Health. He specializes in weight management and issues related to body image and self-esteem. He works with individuals at the hospital's Weight Loss and Diabetes Center to help people who may experience relapses or difficulty losing weight.
