LAST WEEK : We hosted the annual Rye-Harrison Sportsmanship Luncheon at the Whitby Castle in Rye, NY.

 

 

THIS WEEK:

President Jason opened up the meeting and welcomed everyone. The Pledge of Allegiance was said and Patriotic song followed.

 

INVOCATION:  “We give thanks for our friendship, fellowship and safety and everything we are given. Health and happiness to all. Amen.”

 

President Jason welcomed back Julie Kattan and said our prayers and good thoughts are with her during this difficult time. Julie is updating our By-Laws currently.

 

Jason said the Rye-Harrison Sportsmanship Luncheon was a tremendous success with much positive feedback.  There were 64 paid guests and 39 from our Club.  A highlight event for Rye Rotary!

 

RE: OUR TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27^th GOLF OUTING

 

Chairpersons Rich Martinelli and Raul Bello encouraged all to attend the “First Annual Rye Rotary Golf Outing” to be held at Apawamis on Tuesday, September 27 and to register online at “ryerotary.org”. 

 

WE NEED EVERYONE TO SUPPORT THIS EVENT, SO PLEASE REGISTER ONLINE OR CONTACT RICH OR RAUL.  DINNER ONLY IF NOT A GOLFER IS OK !!

 

**We are still in need of hole sponsors, dinner and lunch sponsors, volunteers and golfers too.  Goal is 48 golfers.

 

The Inductiion of Councilwoman Danielle Taggar-Epstein was conducted by Tom Saunders.

Jason announced our upcoming  Annual Pie Sale chaired by Jane Fox and Rita Tino
