Guests: Carin Mehler, Jay Archer, Officers from the Rye Police Department
President Mehler welcomed all members and guests.
President Mehler and Rye Rotarian Rich Martinelli made the formal presentation of the grant to Police Commissioner and Rye Rotarian Michael Corcoran Iran and 7 Officers from the Rye Police.

President Jason called the Meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was cited.
The Invocation:
“As we gather here today at The Whitby Castle, we thank you as Rotarians and Lions for your service, fellowship and safety. May your goodness and love be present amongst us today. Amen”
President Jason gave special recognitions to our guests:
Rabbi Daniel Gropper, Rye City Councilwoman and new Rotarian Danielle Tagger-Epstein, our own DG Lora Hugelmeyer, Senator George Latimer, Assemblyman Steve Otis, Arthur Stampleman. Jason welcomed Midland School Music teacher and director of the Choir, Rita Pisano along with the students performing.
Jason also asked the Lions to speak and member Chris Shoemaker spoke of how wonderful the two clubs are and how they each make such wonderful differences in so many ways. Jason also asked all the members to introduce themselves and noted what stellar members there are in both organizations.
The Lions gave special recognition to their elder member Dave Heller and his wife Terry.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Our new member, Christine Sculti to be inducted in January. Delay due to illness. Feel better Christine!
President Jason reminds all to engage new people to become members of Rye Rotary. Our Club remains vibrant because of all its members.
